LIME (Landline, Internet, Mobile, and Entertainment) St. Lucia is a GSM mobile network operator owned by Cable & Wireless plc (C&W), providing cellular, landline, and wireless internet services.

C&W runs the longest running telecommunications coverage in the Caribbean, with its history dating back to the 1800’s. Today, LIME’s presence stretches across 13 markets, serving more than 10.2 million mobile users, more than 600,000 fixed line customers, and more than 200,000 broadband subscribers.

Recently, LIME announced its deployment of EDGE coverage in St. Lucia, promising faster data transmission rates for improved internet browsing, email, and downloads. The nationwide deployment is set to start in 2012.

LIME All Inclusive Prepaid Plans

The Talk Text Data 200 plan delivers 200 airtime minutes, 50 SMS, and 5MB of mobile data, all for an affordable price of (East Caribbean dollars) $90. On the other hand, the Talk Text Data 700 package, priced at $301, offers more allocations of 700 minutes, 200 text messages, and 10MB of web data.


LIME Anywhere Talk Plans

For more airtime allocations, LIME Anywhere Talk Plans offer the following packages: Anywhere Talk 100 ($36), Anywhere Talk 250 ($90), Anywhere Talk 500 ($160), Anywhere Talk 1000 ($320), and Anywhere Talk 5000 ($1600), with included airtime minutes of 100, 250, 500, 1,000, and 5,000, respectively.

LIME Anywhere Text Plans

Subscribers who rely more heavily on text messaging may opt-in for LIME Anywhere Text plans, starting with Anywhere Text 50, which delivers 50 SMS for only $5. Other options include Anywhere Text 250 ($23), Anywhere Text 500 ($40), and Anywhere Text (Text Away) (with 5,000 SMS, for only $50).

LIME Data Plans

With LIME, mobile users may choose daily, weekly, or monthly data packages. Starting with the daily Data 1 Day plan, one enjoys 100MB of internet browsing for only $2. Higher options include the Data 7 Days (1GB, $12) and the Data 30 Days (7GB, $50) data plans.

LIME All Talk Plus

LIME All Talk Plus appeals to prepaid users who engage in heavy on-net calling, text messaging, and mobile browsing, delivering 1,500 on-net airtime minutes, 1,500 on-net SMS, and 1GB of on-net data—all for only $135 per month. To subscribe to this option, one only needs to send the keyword ALLTALK to 4255.

To replenish airtime minutes, subscribers may purchase LIME prepaid refill cards or electronic top-ups from LIME stores and authorized retail outlets.
