Digicel Prepaid PlansJust like in other parts of the Caribbean, Digicel offers more affordable airtime rates during off-peak hours (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.), when each minute of talk time, whether on-net or off-net, costs (Trinidad and Tobago dollars) $0.74. Calling rates come cheaper during weekends (midnight Friday to midnight Sunday), when each minute of airtime to any local destination costs only $0.57. During peak hours (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.), calls are charged $1.25 per minute. As for text messaging, each SMS sent costs $0.30 to other local Digicel numbers, $0.43 to other local networks, and $0.57 to international destinations. Digicel Prepaid RefillsTo replenish airtime minutes, prepaid users may purchase Digicel refill cards or electronic top-ups from authorized agents, retail outlets, and Digicel stores in Trinidad and Tobago.
