China Mobile Limited is a state-owned mobile network operator first established in Hong Kong in September 1997 as China Telecom Limited. In 1999, the breakup of China Telecom resulted to the inception of China Mobile, which is now the largest telecommunications provider across China with more than 600 million subscribers.
