The following information below features Airtel’s prepaid plans currently offered in Delhi NCR. For all other regions, Airtel mobile users may visit http://www.airtel.in. In Delhi alone, Airtel provides up to four prepaid airtime plans in an effort to meet the varying calling needs of subscribers. All prices listed below are quoted in India’s local currency, the Rupee, with symbols Re. (singular) or Rs. (plural). Airtel Regular Prepaid (Airtel/DL/GSM/11) This Rs25 prepaid package, on a per-second charging scheme, delivers very affordable calling rates of 1.2 paise per second for both local and STD mobile calls and only 1.5 paise per second for calls to fixed lines. The Airtel Regular Prepaid plan’s promotional rates have a validity period of only 180 days from the date of activation, after which the rates change to Re1 per minute for local calls and Rs1.50 per minute for STD calls. Airtel Turbo Plan 1 (Airtel/DL/GSM/25) Prepaid subscribers who prefer per-minute airtime charging may choose Airtel Turbo Plan 1, which costs Rs45. Mobile users on this plan enjoy cheaper calling rates of 60 paise per minute for all calls to mobile numbers, whether local or STD. Calls to landlines, on the other hand, cost 90 paise per minute. Calls while roaming in other regions in India are charged the same rate of 60 paise per minute for on-net calls, while talk time to all other networks costs 80 paise per minute. Airtel MNP SUK Prepaid (Airtel/DL/GSM/14) Another per-second calling plan, the Airtel MNP SUK Prepaid package, is ideal for customers who spend lesser time on making outgoing calls. This, package, which costs Rs19, also delivers Rs5 worth of free airtime. Once the free minutes are consumed, local calls and STD calls will be charged 1.2 paise per second, while talk time to fixed lines will be charged 1.5 paise per second. Airtel Turbo Plan 2 (Airtel/DL/GSM/9) Airtel customers who frequently roam in other national locations within India may opt-in for the Airtel Turbo Plan 2 package, which costs Rs46 and charges on a per-second basis. Local and STD calls cost 1.2 paise per second, while calls to landlines are charged 1.5 paise per second. While on roaming, mobile calls to other Airtel numbers are charged 60 paise per minute, while airtime to other networks costs 80 paise per minute. SMS Rates Regardless of the plan, text messages cost Re1.00 per message sent to local networks, Rs1.50 per message sent to national operators, and Rs5.00 per message sent to international destinations. Airtel Prepaid Refills Airtel prepaid customers who wish to recharge their airtime minutes may purchase Airtel prepaid top-ups from Airtel flagship stores, retailers, authorized dealers, and other outlets located across India.
